Integrative Permaculture & Agroforestry
Cultivating Connections, Regenerating Soil
“Food security exists when all people, at all times, have physical and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life.” CREEED’s understanding of food security and personal health emphasizes local, regenerative and culturally appropriate food systems, in recognition that these elements support greater food sovereignty in the face of rising prices and supply disruptions. It also offers healthier food than the industrial food system and puts control back in the hands of farmers, consumers and rural communities themselves.

Brahm Gartner
Michael's Colleague & Stakeholder
Brahm brings a wealth of passion and knowledge gleaned from traveling the world and studying a wide variety of cutting-edge agricultural methods.

Earning a scholarship to Harvard but leaving early to seek a different kind of education; one that took him to foreign lands where he learned the native tongue and is now fluent in seven languages; learning different farming systems across the globe; visiting and living in different villages where he got to know the people and their way of life; their traditions, rituals and ceremonies. With this rare combination of knowledge, wisdom and grace, Brahm has gained an education beyond the reach of any University. We are fortunate to have Brahm here as he continues to grow and share his wisdom and skill with many apprentices. Together they learned which plants thrive in our temperate climate as they bring new approaches to regenerative agriculture and forestry to our community and beyond.
